Booked rate
Also called: booking rate, lead-to-appointment rate
Booked rate is the percentage of leads that end up with a scheduled appointment, estimate, or call in the calendar.
Booked rate = booked appointments ÷ total qualified leads × 100.
Assumptions and cited research behind this metric are listed on the methodology and sources page.
Why it matters
It isolates how well your handling process works, independent of how many leads marketing produced. Rising booked rate means the same spend buys more work.
Worked example
A dental practice qualified 80 enquiries and booked 30 consults, giving a 37.5% booked rate. After adding automated reminders and two-way texting, the same lead flow produced more consults without more marketing.
